These things a doctor should quickly take note of while prescribing
Cabbage broth has a laxative effect; its substance is astringent;
When taken together they act as a laxative.
The Ancients called mallow "malva" because it softens the belly (alvum).
The roots of the mallow act as a laxative;
They bring movement to the womb and cause menstrual flow to ocuur
Mint would not be mint (mentitur menta) if it were slow to expel
Dangerous intestinal worms of the belly and stomach.
