Lady Katherine's Meat Pie

DESCRIPTION: A pie of pork layered with chicken


  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground pork
  • 1/2 lb. boneless cooked chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbs. cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 9-inch pie shell
In a skillet, cook pork until done; drain well. Mix with all other ingredients except the chicken. Put 1/2 of the pork mixture into the pie shell. Place chicken on top of the pork. Cover with remaining pork mixture. Bake at 400° F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
